Installing a 90 degree shower enclosure is a great way to keep a classic look while making your bathroom feel open and luxurious. These enclosures are comprised of two or more fixed panels and a do or that is mounted to the wall or to one of the stationary glass panels with glass-to-glass hinges. With proper hinges and installation, it is typically not necessary to add metal to the top of the enclosure in order for it to be secure. This style of shower enclosure is installed with 3/8" thick tempered clear glass along with the hardware of choice to complement your bathroom. A metal header, while not always necessary, can be added at the top of the enclosure for additional strength and support.
